Welcome! The Evaluation Data System (EDS) is designed to help you determine whether certain courses taken at another college or university are transferable to the University of California, Santa Cruz. We have built this system based on past evaluations of course work presented by our students. EDS is by no means comprehensive. It only contains information on a limited number of courses that we have previously reviewed in determining transferability, applicability to General Education requirements, and other course-specific details. EDS does not contain information for the California community colleges, as that information is available on ASSIST, the statewide articulation database. As you begin to search for information on a particular course, you will need to specify the institution. Once you have selected the appropriate college or university, you will be able to search for a course by department and/or catalog year(s). Once you have found the course or courses you desire, you may save these courses in a bin for later viewing or printing. We hope that you will find EDS a useful tool. Good searching! Begin Search
